JOB DESCRIPTION: PROGRAM COORDINATOR
SUMMARY: The Program Coordinator provides essential administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of Leadership Houston’s programs and events. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, supporting the Program Manager and Executive Director in managing communications, event logistics, and program data. This position reports to the Program Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative & Operational Support:
Manage schedules, registrations, and participant communications.
Maintain organized program records and databases.
Assist in preparing reports and tracking key program metrics.
Event Coordination:
Support the planning and execution of program events, alumni meetings, and community initiatives.
Coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and materials.
Assist with on-site event setup and attendee support.
Marketing & Outreach Support:
Assist with social media updates, website maintenance, and email communications.
Support outreach efforts by engaging with alumni and community partners.
Financial & Grant Support:
Assist in tracking program budgets and processing expenses.
Support fundraising efforts through donor communications and sponsorship follow-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience in administrative or program coordination roles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION:
$40-55k base salary per year (for F/T)
